Determine dimension "X" (Diagram 3A) and connect the shear valve and union with a nipple. <br />2The shear valve must be adjusted vertically by loosening the nets on the support bracket holding the impact valve to the dis- <br />penser pan bottom. Loosen the two nuts at the "U" bolt (Diagram 3A, No. 1), and the two nuts at the pan bottom (Diagram 3A, • <br />No. 2). Then loosen the primary to secondary sealing nut (Diagram 3A; No. 3) using a chain wrench or other applicable tool. Now the ' <br />entire impact valve assembly is free to move up and down approximately 1". . <br />After the dispenser riser pipe is connected to the impact valve, proceed in the following order: <br />•. <br />13 <br />A. Tightly secure the sealing nut (Diagram 3A, No. 3) taking care not to over -tighten the upper nut. •. <br />B. Tighten the two "U" clamp nuts (Diagram 3A, No. 1). <br />C. Tighten the two nuts securing the pan. (Diagram 3A, No. 2). <br />a <br />
