For water table considerations on a ten
foot diameter tank over 12,000 gallon
capacity, see Xerxes TRU-CHEK' brochure
NO 3/92 HPE —10' worksheet).
9. Record dispenser readings prior to
performing the tank tightness test and after
the test is completed. Verify depending on
the tank size, that the maximum dispensing
rates as noted on the TRU-CHEK' data log
sheets aren't exceeded during the test.
10. Conduct the TRU-CHEK' procedures
as shown on the TRU-CHEK® data log
sheets. Note there are different log sheets
for 6'/8' diameter tanks and 10' tanks above
12,000 gallons.
• To increase the accuracy of the tank
tightness test, the applicator should use
water finding paste to pinpoint the
calibrated dipstick measurements.
11. After the test is completed:
• Remove the additional brine with a
pump and adjust brine level in the
reservoir to about mid -point in probe.
• Carefully replace the electronic probe
system checking again the upper and
lower alarm level positions.
12. Maintain the data log sheets as a
permanent record and/or submit to the
jurisdiction in question as needed.
13: If the tank tightness test fails, it is
recommended you repeat the test to verify
the results. If the test fails again, notify
Xerxes Corporation's Technical Services
Department - (612) 887-1890.
14.
