Lodi, CA 95240 <br />DIRECTOR <br />Donna Heran, RENS <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Kasey Foley, RENS <br />Linda Turkatte, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the application for a permit to take apart the fitting, clean, and reinstall, and if necessary replace <br />with Western Fiberglass Co -Flex Double Wall Piping on the diesel underground storage tank <br />(UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Aris Cacapit at (209) 468-3453 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br />pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. Applicable if new piping is installed <br />b. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br />there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br />method specked in an industry code or engineering standard. Applicable if new <br />piping is installed <br />c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on piping transition sump. Applicable if the <br />penetrations have been affected. <br />d. Primary line integrity test on the diesel product line. <br />e. Secondary containment testing on diesel product line. <br />4. If concrete will be broken near the diesel UST and/or piping, a secondary containment <br />test must be performed on the diesel UST and/or piping once concrete is poured in <br />accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
