All secondary containment system which is not an integral part of the primary <br /> containment shall be designed and constructed according to an engineering specification <br /> approved by a state registered professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized <br /> industry code or engineering standard (Title 23 Chapter 16, 2631(d)). <br /> 11. Maintain continuous system monitoring (as applicable) during all upgrade activities. <br /> 12. Install concrete of sufficient thickness according to the manufacturer's written installation <br /> instructions. <br /> 13. Install all penetrations and piping according to manufacturer's written installation instructions; <br /> maintain all appropriate piping distances and installation depths. <br /> 14. All installation and testing shall be in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions, section <br /> 2635 and section 2636 of California Code of Regulations (CCR). <br /> 15. An accurate and drawn to scale as-built plan must be submitted to the EHD prior to scheduling <br /> a final inspection. <br /> 16. No fuel or other hazardous material or waste can be released (intentionally or unintentionally) <br /> to the sewer/septic, storm water system, or any other waters of the state. If a release occurs it <br /> will be considered illegal hazardous waste disposal and will be subject to enforcement. <br /> 17. Submit to CERS an accurate Monitoring Plan prior to scheduling your final inspection. <br /> 18. Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
