Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm history shall be printed <br /> prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system and made available at the <br /> time of EHD inspection. <br /> I. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can detect a <br /> leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system or receive fuel in the <br /> diesel tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Secondary containment testing for the affected, and installed components is required six <br /> months after installation. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br /> 5. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br /> current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued <br /> to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board, and <br /> b. Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid, current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC), and <br /> c. Possesses a valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br /> 6. Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site <br /> who possesses all of the following: <br /> a. A valid, current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board, and <br /> b. A valid, current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council (ICC), and <br /> c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being <br /> installed. <br /> 7. Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), update and submit the "UST <br /> Monitoring Plan" for tank three for approval. <br /> 8. Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), complete and submit a "UST <br /> Certification of Installation/Modification" form for the UST within 30 days. <br /> 9. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc.). See California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title 23, Chapter 16, Table B for a complete list. <br /> 10. All primary containment including any integral secondary containment system must be certified <br /> by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by the organization (Title 23 <br /> Chapter 16, 2631(b); (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See Title 23 Chapter 16 Table B for <br /> complete list.)
