The Discharge Head of the FE
Petro Submerged Turbine Pump
features state-of-the-art engi-
neering. It has been designed to
provide the ultimate in ease of
service and installation.
Easy And Efficient
This unit features a three com-
ponent system for easy service
or replacement. The line check
valve, extractable head and
the junction box can each be
serviced individually from the
top without disturbing the
remaining two parts.
Unique Features
When manifold tank instal-
lations are a factor, a syphon
check valve is furnished to
assist in automatically main-
taining equalized product levels
in the tanks.
Each unit also features a
built-in line pressure monitor
port which eliminates the need
for an auxiliary adapter housing.
The line check valve, with
built-in relief valve, protects
the dispenser and piping from
abnormal pressures.
£ .C1 "gllir'
This valve, which is indepen-
dent of the removable head. is
accessible by simply removing
two easy -to -reach bolts.
By turning the valve clamp
screw over the relief valve. air
for pressure testing the system
can be introduced at any time
through an air test opening.
Air and vapor are removed
from the product through a
passage in the discharge head
and returned to the tank—below-
the product level—through a
steel vapor tube. This insures
solid, air -free product delivery
to the island dispensers.
The combination starting and
running capacitor is completely
contained in the discharge
manifold assembly. yet
remains separate from
the check valve and
extractable head.
This completely sepa-
rates the capacitor
housing frorn the fluid
passage. A simple two
wire circuit eliminates
color coding and any
worry about crossing
wires. A conduit water seal at
the outlet of the junction box is
provided for the incoming
power wires.
No electrician is needed to
break a connection when the
pump and motor unit need to be
removed. If at any time you need
to remove the pump, all that is
required to break the circuit is
to simply turn the jack screw.
This
separates
the
plLib In
j
C011IZeC-
tion In an
L1 /
explosion -
proof
enclosure.
Just lift
up and swing the wiring yoke
out of the way to automatically
disconnect the power to the
pumping unit.
