These pump motor assemblies are available in four pump sizes with'/, % or 1% horse -power motors. The pump is a multi- stage centrifugal unit. Hermet- ically sealed motor windings, containing a thermal overload protector within a stainless steel shell, assure dependable motor performance. High Tech Design The FE Petro Motor Coolant System assures .-i longer unit life. The product being pumped circulates around the outside and through the inside of the motor to keep the unit cool. The product also lubricates the bearings and dis- charges _ storage 4P tank, not into the pressure pipe. This assures constant coolant and lubricant regardless of whether the unit is pumping or not. Twenty-five percent glass - filled Celcon' impellers and diffusers mean dependability and low maintenance. Celcon` acetal copolymer material provides high strength and excellent wear resistance. This keeps pea gravel or other large objects from entering the pump and locking up the unit. A thermal overcurrent overload with automatic reset is built into every motor. Should any condition occur which creates excess current in the motor, <' the unit will be taken off-line and then reset. This overload must pass a 3 day locked rotor test in order to meet rigid UL requirements. Each FE Petro pump motor has unit identification information etched on the assembly. shell.
