C. Additional Permits Require . btain LIA permits to: <br />1. Install and operate pressure vessels including compressed air tanks in accordance with requirements of <br />Division of Industrial Safety (DIS). <br />D. Permit Costs: Pay all costs required to obtain permits, perform required tests. Post permits on-site under <br />glass. <br />1.05 FUEL FOR UNDERGROUND TANK AND PIPING TESTING <br />A. The State shall provide gasoline fuel for Piping and Underground Tank Testing: Notify Construction <br />Inspector 10 working days prior to tank testing to obtain sufficient fuel from Agency for initial precision <br />tank leak test. Contractor shall furnish all supplies and test equipment for precision tank leak test. <br />B. Contractor Representative: Contractor shall have representative on-site during fueling and de -fueling of <br />tanks. <br />C. Failed Precision Test: In the event the fuel system (s) fail the precision leak test required under this <br />Section, the Contractor shall be -responsible to: <br />1. Remove the Agency -Provided Fuel (s) in tank (s). <br />2. Repair the fuel system (s). <br />3. Re -test and repair the fuel system (s) until a passing test is obtained. <br />a. All subsequent fuels required for precision testing shall be furnished by the Contractor. Fuel (s) <br />shall be of the same quality and quantity as the fuel (s) removed. <br />4. Upon obtaining a passing precision leak test, fuel quantity remaining in tanks shall be at least equal to <br />i quantity furnished by Agency for testing purposes. If fuel quantity remaining exceeds amount <br />originally furnished by the State, such excess quantity shall become property of the State, at no <br />additional cost. NOTE: Fuel (s) that have been removed from the system are unacceptable as <br />replacement fuel (s). <br />D. Contractor shall bear all fuel removal costs, and fuel disposal and/or storage costs, and cost of fuel for <br />additional tests. <br />1.06 TRAINING <br />A. Items Included: Provide training for systems installed including but not limited to: <br />1. Tank fuel level monitor system. <br />2. Tank and Piping leak monitoring system. <br />3. LIA regulations concerning underground fuel tanks. <br />4. Operation and profiling of card system. <br />B. Personnel Training: Train Agency personnel by an approved manufacturer's representative of equipment <br />installed. Coordinate training session with Construction Supervisor at a time convenient to State. <br />C. LIA Permit Procedures: Give 2 hours of training for each of the following: <br />1. Procedures required to obtain permits to Construction Supervisor, to be forwarded to Agency personnel. <br />-' 2. Provide example forms required for permits. <br />3.
