Construction: 18 inch diameter manhole and cover with 12 inch skirt with 2 screws and gasket seal; <br />lettering on cover: "monitoring well' or "tank gauge"; brass tag for outer ring; gasketed seal on machined <br />surface. Water -tight and tamper -proof. <br />B. Acceptable Manufacturer: <br />1. OPW 104 -MW -0018. <br />2. Pomeco 110 - 18, or equal. <br />2.06 TANK FILL CONNECTION WITH SPILL CONTAINMENT <br />A. Purpose: Contain fuel drained from tanker truck hose during tank filling procedure. <br />B. Construction: Manhole shall have a seal which clamps to bottom of manhole and seals around edge of riser <br />pipe to prevent product seepage into ground. Manifold port shall permit drainage into large tank through a <br />valve at bottom. A buna 0 -ring seals lid to body for watertight service. Manhole body: Heavy duty cast <br />iron sealed with a zinc base primer to resist corrosion. <br />C. Volumetric Capacity: 3 gallon minimum capacity, or permit requirements, whichever is greater. <br />D. Traffic Loading Capacity: H-20 (32,000 pounds) loading. <br />E. Acceptable manufacturer: <br />1. Emco Wheaton A1003 (4.25 gallon capacity). <br />2. Emco Wheaton A106 (26 gallon capacity). <br />3. OPW 1 - 4000. <br />4. CNI Manufacturing Model 200 (5 gallon capacity). <br />5. Universal 60 CD 1212. <br />6. EBW 776 with EBW 775. <br />7. Pomeco 211 or equal. <br />F. Larger Volumetric Capacity Manhole: If Local Implementing Agency requires a larger capacity <br />containment manhole, use: <br />1. Emco Wheaton Model A106, 26 gallons capacity, or equal. <br />G.
