The
permit has been approved with the following conditions.
Conditions of approval:
1. Contact the local fire department, local planning or building department and the San
Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any applicable permits.
2. Any changes shall be submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (EHD) for approval prior to commencing work. All new addenda supercede
the previous ones.
3. Before the alarm history is cleared by the "cold start", a current printout must be
created and available for EHD inspection. Inspection may occur during the monitoring
system functionality test.
4. Since the under dispenser containment (UDC) pans are being modified to add electrical
penetration fittings, an approved test must be performed to determine the integrity of the
UDC pans.
5. Contact Garrett Backus (209-468-2986) to arrange the following inspection(s) (a 48-hour
notice is required):
a. The EHD must witness the testing of the functionality of the monitoring system
to ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of
California Code of Regulations Title 23 and the Health & Safety Code.
b. The EHD must witness the final integrity test performed on each UDC.
6. If concrete is being broken near the UST, pipeline and tank integrity testing must be
performed by a SWRCB licensed tank tester in accordance with the manufacturer's
guidelines. Results must be received by the EHD within seven days of returning the
facility to operating condition.
7. An "Underground Storage Tank Certification of Installation/Modification" form (form C)
shall be submitted by the owner or the owners' agent [pursuant to (CCR) 2635(d)] before
this upgrade will be considered complete by EHD.
