B.1) Your pipe and Bravo FF -Series Flange Fittings should be clean and COMPLETELY DRY AT
ALL TIMES. All pre -abraded areas should be inspected for debris and inconsistencies. No dirt or other
foreign material should be on or inside the fiberglass fitting components. SEE A.1
B.2) Please follow your pipe manufacturers' installation guidelines on cleaning, cutting, scarfing,
tapering and gluing your fiberglass pipe. Use a minimum of 4 feet between first joint & sump fitting for
proper flexibility. Clean all parts after scarfing and tapering.
.3) RECOMMENDED: OPTIONAL: If size over size piping is used, it is recommended
that you install pipe centralizers between the primary and secondary pipe. Refer to .pipe instructions.
HALVES OF THE FITTING MUST BE PRESENT ON THE PIPE AND MUST SIT FLAT AGAINST
THE WALL. If the pipe angle is interfering with this then adjust the pipe so both fitting halves sit flat
and square against the sump wall. Seal all endpoints to your fiberglass pipe. Pressure test piping
system per pipe manufacturers instructions while observing all local, state and federal codes.
.J) FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS DETAILED BELOW TO MIX AND APPLY YOUR ADHESIVE.
Each fitting is supplied with two bags
of milled fiberglass filler. Two bags
should be added to each adhesive kit
and thoroughly mixed BEFORE
CATALYST IS ADDED.
When thoroughly incorporated, then
catalyze your adhesive and
thoroughly mix again before
application. Add more fiberglass filler
to the adhesive at your own discretion
if it seems too thin.
B.6) When all hole saw cuts have
been made and piping has been tested
with a pass result, apply a GENEROUS
amount of adhesive to all contact
surfaces: the wall, the fitting, inside the
fitting cavity and to the pipe leading up
to the wall for approximately 2 inches.
(Fig. B6).
Bags of
i [E
per Adhesive ]KO
6 ii -FF -Series -11A
