C
.7) With the filler -mixed adhesive
generously coating all contact surfaces,
Push the two fitting halves together (Fig.
136 and 137) all the way to the wall. As
shown in the DEFAULT orientation
Fig. 139, align your set -screws so that
one is at 12 -o -clock and the other at
3 -o -clock.
.8) Use an adhesive brush or gloved
finger to bead the adhesive and keep it
from sagging or running off the fitting.
Spread it around as thick as possible
3600 around the two Critical Joints
(FIG. 137). Repeat or add additional mixed
adhesive to build up a thick, heavy bead
at each critical joint.
ALMOMMUMEM
Using a Bravo -supplied Allen wrench
(1 per fitting) hold the fitting firmly to the
wall with your hand with the two set
screws in the DEFAULT orientation and
tighten each set -screw BY HAND until
snug (Fig. 139).
Pay special attention to the Critical Joint
between the Flange and the Sump Wall
(Shown in FIG. 137) when you tighten
either set -screw. If a Flange moves away
from the wall while you are tightening the
set -screws, back off both set -screws,
rotate the Flange 900 degrees Clockwise
(to the right) so the set -screws point to
3 -o -clock and 6 -o -clock (ADJUSTED
orientation Fig. 13.9) and tighten the set
screws again until your flanges are flat.
Re -apply the adhesive bead at both
Critical Joints (FIG. 137).
Z • Y •
Fitting to Wall
Ar these
two areas
heavily with
mixed adhesive
Be • .
VT 0
IN•
7 ii -FF -Series -11A
