All pipe will be supplied with a matching tapered coupling and a matching tapered threaded <br />spigot. <br />CONSTRUCTION <br />2" - 4" — RED THREAT) It pipe shall have continuous glass fibers filament wound at a 351/4° helix angle in a matrix of epoxy <br />resin. Pipe shall be in compliance with ASTM D-2996 and classified by its designation code. Pipe shall meet all <br />dimensional and performance requirements, mechanical properties, and shall be marked with the following <br />designation codes: <br />Size Designation Code at 73.4° F <br />2" - 4" RTRP-1 IAF -3111 <br />ITEMS <br />Pipe <br />2" - 4" — Glass fiber reinforced filament wound pipe with matching Glpered threaded coupling and spigot. Pipe to be factory <br />prooftested at the following pressures: <br />2" - 1000 psig <br />3" - 700 psig <br />4" - 500 psig <br />Fittings — <br />2" - 4" -- Compression molded fittings shall be manufactured using an epoxy molding compound. The molding compound <br />shall be reinforced with a minimum of 60% chopped glass fiber. In-line fittings are filament wound. <br />Adhesives — Adhesive and curing agents shall be LJL Listed DS -700{' series adhesives. <br />joining Techniques - <br />2" - 4" — Pipe and fittings shall be joined with DS -7000 series adhesive using match irig tapered fittings and tapered threaded <br />coupling and spigot.
