Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed an abundance of dried and semi-fresh mouse droppings in nonfood contact locations <br /> throughout the facility: on top of the 3 door keg cooler, on the liquor bottle shelving, in the 2 door cabinet under the cash <br /> register, on the shelving above the 3 door Turbo air, on the floor next to the 3 door Turbo Air, on the floor under the mop <br /> sink, on the floor by the 1 door Frigidaire freezer and 2 door Kitma, and in th front room by the two freezers. <br /> Immediately clean up all rodent droppings,then clean and sanitize the affected areas. <br /> Immediately implement a pest control program: use snap traps, glue boards, or enclosed bait boxes(do not use open bait <br /> pellets or open bait bars). <br /> Position snap traps/glue boards around interior of the facility and monitor daily. <br /> A re-inspection will occur in 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #34 Warewashing Facilites Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Quat sanitizer test strips are needed. Obtain quat sanitizer test strips by 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and <br /> materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method.
