Make Safety the First Priority - above all, guard the safety of yourself, responders and public <br /> . Size up the situation - assess to determine incident magnitude & potential (wind/weather) <br /> . Sound Alarms and Shut-Down Operations as Necessary <br /> • Evacuate as Necessary- consider drivers, contractors, renter/leasee, neighbors &staff <br /> . Activate Necessary Local Help- Fire, Police, EMS & Other Agency's, coordinate access for <br /> responders <br /> . Set-up Hot Zone- Utilize air monitoring if appropriate to ensure employees, responders and <br /> public safety is addressed. <br /> .
