Peters, Jr. —Sr. Director- Environmental, Health & Safety <br /> 6.1.3 Manage contracts and selection processes for Approved Hazardous Waste <br /> Transporters, Emergency Spill Response Vendors, and authorized recyclers. <br /> 6.1.4 Manage SECAT-related items (e.g., Hazardous Waste profiles, obtain and manage <br /> EPA ID numbers, Generator Status assignments, waste pickup frequencies, recurring <br /> tasks, etc.). <br /> 6.1.5 Coordinate Emergency Spill response communication and follow-up. <br /> 6.1.6 Manage the process for reporting spills to regulatory agencies as required. <br /> 6.1.7 Manage the arrangements with Local Emergency Response Organizations under 40 <br /> CFR 262.17(a)(6) and subpart M of part 265. <br /> 6.1.8 Assist LQG sites with the implementation of the site-specific Hazardous Waste <br /> Management program. <br /> 6.1.9 Review at least annually Location Generator Status designations. <br /> 6.1.10 Periodically review compliance with this Standard. <br /> 6.2 Business EHS Leader shall: <br /> 6.2.1 Provide leadership and technical expertise. <br /> 6.2.2 Periodically assess compliance with this Standard, measure performance, and lead <br /> improvement efforts. <br /> 6.2.3 Ensure associates, managers, IDEAS, and DECs receive timely and adequate training <br /> to consistently and appropriately manage Hazardous Waste processes. <br /> 6.2.4 Partner with Enterprise EHS Department to determine Generator Status of Locations. <br /> 6.3 Location Manager shall: <br /> 6.3.1 Comply with this Standard. <br /> 6.3.2 Serve as a DEA for the Location and select all other DEAs and/or DECs in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> 6.3.3 Complete all required DEA training and ensure timely completion and proper <br /> documentation of DEA and/or DEC training by all other IDEAS and/or DECs at the <br /> Location. <br /> 6.3.4 Ensure all Affected Associate training is timely completed and documented. <br /> 6.3.5 Periodically self-audit training records to ensure consistent and timely completion and <br /> documentation. <br /> Any printed copy of this document is an uncontrolled document.
