Peters, Jr. —Sr. Director- Environmental, Health & Safety <br /> 6.3.6 Assign, as appropriate, specific Location responsibilities to various DEAs and/or <br /> DECs. <br /> 6.3.7 Assist the Enterprise EHS department and the Business EHS leader as needed to <br /> comply with the requirements of this Standard. <br /> 6.4 Designated Environmental Associates (DEAs) shall: <br /> 6.4.1 Comply with this Standard and all DEA responsibilities, including ensuring required <br /> DEA training is completed and maintained as required. <br /> 6.4.2 Ensure Central Accumulation Area and Satellite Accumulation Areas are properly set <br /> up and appropriately stocked with supplies. <br /> 6.4.3 Conduct comprehensive, regular inspections of the Central Accumulation and <br /> Satellite Accumulation Areas and correct any deficiencies immediately or as soon as <br /> practicable and retain inspection forms for at least three (3) years in a file at the <br /> Location. <br /> 6.4.4 Properly monitor Hazardous Waste accumulation volume and storage time limits in <br /> accordance with the Location's Generator Status and Table 2 of this Standard. <br /> 6.4.5 Sign and file at the Location the Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents after <br /> verifying them for accuracy. <br /> 6.4.6 Timely retrieve the final Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents from the vendor's on- <br /> line system, matching it to the Initial Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest and any <br /> associated documents such as the Land Disposal Restrictions, and file at the <br /> Location for a minimum of three (3) years. <br /> 6.4.7 Request and schedule Hazardous Waste pickups as needed. <br /> 6.4.8 Respond to spills and releases including spill cleanup. <br /> 6.4.9 Utilize SECAT to generate Hazardous Waste labels. <br /> 6.5 Designated Emergency Coordinators (DECs) shall: <br /> 6.5.1 Comply with this Standard and all DEC responsibilities, including ensuring required <br /> DEA training is completed and maintained as required. <br /> 6.5.2 Implement the Location's Contingency Plan or Modified Contingency Plan in the <br /> event of fire, explosion, and/or discharge of Hazardous Waste to the environment. <br /> 6.5.3 Provide documented Contingency Plan training to all Affected Associates annually or <br /> when changes to the Contingency Plan occur. <br /> Any printed copy of this document is an uncontrolled document. The current version is available on the HD Supply Corporate EHS Intranet. <br />
