This plan consists of descriptions of <br /> processes and emergency res6ionses unique to this facility and the hazardous materials,wastes,and <br /> processes handled onsite. <br /> 1.1 Facility Background <br /> Sierra Chemical Co., is owned and operated by Carus Group Inc.Sierra Chemical Co. is located in <br /> Stockton,CA in San Joaquin County in Central California and includes an area of approximately 74 acres. <br /> This facility is located in an industrial area of Stockton and contains'a railroad track that runs through <br /> the facility for distribution purposes.The area is IoW in population density with very few residential <br /> areas within 1 square mile of the facility.The area surrounding the facility consists of commercial and <br /> industrial businesses.The facility is fenced and gated at all times so that entrance to the property is <br /> restricted.
