i
29 October 2008
AGE-NC Project No. 04-1168
liter(µg/1) in MW-3 and 800 µg/1 in MW-1.
• The fuel oygenate methyl-tertiarybutyl ether(MTBE)was recorded in all samples and ranged
between 320 ug/1 in MW-3 and 480 ug/l in MW-1 and MW-2.
• Total xylenes were only detected in MW-1.at 29 ug/1.
• No additional analytes were reported at or above laboratory detection limits in the ground
water samples analyzed.
Analytical results of the ground water samples collected in September 2008 are summarized on
Table 2.The laboratory report(CTEL Lab Project.No. CT214-0809254),quality assurance/quality
control report, and chain-of:custody form are included in Appendix D.Electronic deliverable format
(EDF) files and depth-to-water data were uploaded to the State GeoTracker database; the.
confirmation numbers are 2221221029 and 2918869495.
4.0. CONCLUSIONS
Based upon the results of the ground water monitoring,AGE presents the following conclusions:
• At the time of the.third quarter 2008 monitoring event, the ground water flow was inferred
to be northwest under an average hydraulic gradient of approximately 0.003 ft/ft.
• Ground water samples collected from MW-1 through MW-3 all contained TPH-g witha
maximum concentration of 800 µg/1 (MW-1). MTBE was also detected in all three wells
with a maximum concentration of 480 ug/l(MW-1 and MW-2).
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the conclusions presented in this report,"AGE recommends the following:
• Continuation of the quarterly ground water monitoring program. The next quarterly
monitoring event was scheduled for December 2008. The fourth quarterly monitoring event
should be done in conjunction with the quarterly monitoring events at the 3032 East
Waterloo Road site.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
