Limited Site Investigation Irerracon
Proposed Love's Travel Stop . Lodi, California
April 15, 2011 . Terracon Project No. 60117009
water standards. The groundwater samples obtained during this LSI, reported laboratory
detection limits below applicable CDPH primary MCLs. TPH screening levels have not been
established and there not compared to the data collected during this LSI.
5.0 FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The findings and recommendations of this investigation are as follows:
13 Based on the laboratory analytical results, BTEX, MTBE, and TPH were not
detected at concentrations above their respective laboratory reporting limits in
the soil and groundwater samples collected during this investigation, except for
the groundwater sample TSP-10A, which reported a low concentration of TPH
DRO at 0.229 mg/L.
■ Based on the analytical results from this LSI, the on-site soil and groundwater in
the vicinity of B-10A/TSP-10A, B-11A/TSP-11A and B-12A/TSP-12A does not
appear to be affected by a release of BTEX or MTBE; however, the groundwater
in the vicinity of boring TSP-11A appears to be affected by TPH DRO slightly
above the laboratory reporting limit
e The objective of the LSI is to evaluate and confirm the presence of BTEX, MTBE,
and TPH above relevant laboratory reporting limits in the on-site soil and
groundwater in the vicinity of vicinity of boring B-11 as a result of the xylenes
concentration reported during the geotechnical investigation. Based on the
analytical results reported during this LSI, additional site investigation does not
appear warranted at this time.
■ If soils or groundwater located on the site are to be disturbed during future
excavations or construction activities, proper procedures should be followed with
respect to worker health and safety, and any affected soil or groundwater
encountered should be properly characterized, treated, and/or disposed in
accordance with applicable local, state or federal regulations.
Reliable ■ Responsive■ Convenient■ Innovative 6
