• all reusable items must be disinfectanted with a caiwipe and properly stored in a closed <br /> container or drawer. such as permament makeup machine, pencils, rulers, and etc. <br /> Set Up and Tear Down of Workstation: Describe the procedure for setting up and tearing <br /> down the workstation for the following procedures (California Health and Safety Code <br /> 119308, 119309 (c), 119311, and 119313 (b)(4)). <br /> Permanent Cosmetics: <br /> SET UP <br /> • all areas that come into contact during procedure must be covered by nonabsorbent <br /> single use items. <br /> • stool: take a new 13 gallon trash bag and cover all stools and handles that will be used <br /> during procedure. <br /> • headrest and massage bed: cover head rest with new 13 gallon trash bag and cover <br /> massage bed with disposable sheet. <br /> • tray: take a new 13 gallon trash bag and cover all trays that will be used during <br /> procedure. take a disposable dental bib and lay it on top all items used during procedure <br /> will be on this tray. <br /> • trash can: take a new trash bag and line waste baskets <br /> • machine: any machines used during procedure are to be wrapped in clip cord covers <br /> and wrapped in grip tape. <br /> • take barrier film and cover all light fixtures, pencils and phones if used during <br /> procedure. <br /> TEAR DOWN <br /> • with a new pair of gloves on untie bags from stool and headrest and place into trash <br /> can, take disposable bed sheet and place in trash can, take all barrier film off of items <br /> that were covered. lastly go to the tray dispose of any sharps into proper sharps <br /> containers take any items that are not single use and place it on the counter. take <br /> everything off of the tray and place it into trash can. double bag all trash bags before <br /> disposing of trash in proper trash receptacle <br />
