I- Workstation surfaces/counter tops: All surfaces that are used or touched by a practitioner or customer during a tattoo or piercing are sprayed with a cide(cavacide, opticide,etc.)and allowed to sit for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed.The garbage is emptied at least once to twice daily and the garbage cans are sprayed and cleaned with a cide once a week. The floors of the workstation are swept and mopped twice daily(once before we open for business and once after the business is closed). If there is a high volume of foot traffic throughout the day in the work station, it will be swept and mopped at least once more. The walls in the workstation are sprayed with a cide and wiped down at least once a week as well.Any windows near the workstation are sprayed with Windex daily and a cide once a week. 2.Workstation chairs/stools:All workstation chairs and stools are sprayed with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed. 3. Trays:All trays and stools are sprayed with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed. 4.Armrests:All armrests are sprayed with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed. 5.Headrests:All headrests are sprayed with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off, before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed. 6.Procedure area: The procedure areas are sprayed down with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed. Any hand mirrors used in the procedure area are sprayed with a cide at least once daily and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off. 7.Tables:All tables are sprayed down with a cide and allowed to soak for 3-5 minutes before being wiped off,before and after all tattoos and piercings are performed.
