If a sharp, in a sharp container,has been <br /> contaminated through contact with, or having previously contained, chemotherapy agents, <br /> then the sharps container shall be segregated for storage and,when placed in a secondary <br /> container,that container shall be labeled with the words"Chemotherapy Waste"or"Chemo, <br /> INCINERATION ONLY". <br /> D. Pharmaceutical-generated waste is managed by the Medical Waste Disposal Vendor and <br /> Environmental Services until placed into the locked storage area outside the hospital building.
