SHIFT <br />I <br />e. Collect trash and deposit soiled linen in chutes throughout <br />Patient areas, OPD, Dialysis, Administration and Central Closet <br />following established procedure. Collect infectious waste from <br />ER. <br />1. Infectious waste is to be transported in the Red trash <br />cart and disposed of in the infectious waste trash bin. <br />The infectious waste bin is to remain closed and locked <br />at all times. The red trash cart is to be disinfected <br />everynight at the end of the shift. <br />2. Regular trash (non-infectious) is to be transported in the <br />trash compactor. Trash cart is to be disinfected everynight. <br />f. Clean basement area daily. Empty trash, dry and wet mop floor. <br />Clean sink. Buff floor, strip and wax as needed. <br />3. Perform any additional job-related duties as requested by Housekeeping <br />supervisor. <br />4. Report all needed maintenance repairs to Housekeeping supervisor. <br />5. Employee shall remain in assigned area during working hours at <br />all times except during scheduled lunch and break times. If break <br />and lunch cannot be taken at designated times due to work load, <br />notify the Housekeeping supervisor. <br />6. Employee shall participate in any and all inspections of assigned <br />areas as requested by the Housekeeping supervisor. <br />7. Clean up of cart and equipment shall begin 15 minutes prior to the <br />end of the shift. Employee shall report to the Basement area no <br />more than 10 minutes prior to the end of the shift. <br />8. Report any unfinished duties to the Housekeeping supervisor. <br />9. Employee shall attend all Staff meetings and Inservice programs as <br />scheduled. <br />10. Employee assigned to C.S.R. area is responsible to maintain all <br />assigned areas within acceptable departmental standards. <br />BREAK TIMES: 7:30 7:45 p.m. and 9:30 - 9:45 p.m. <br />LUNCH TIME: -5:30 6:00 p.m. <br />- 012-0769(1/83) <br />
