I Hot trash collected from E Facility is kept in E Facili I <br />Complex Control. The Recycling and Salvage Program (RASP), Material and Store Superviso <br />(M&SSI) will collect the hot trash from those designated areas and deposit in hot trash receptac <br />Rev <br />W2016 located behind Patient Management Unit (PMU) that is secured by a lock. <br />Rev Large items of contraband and/or hot trash shall be deposited in the container that has been <br />612016 placed behind PMU. When this container is emptied, the vehicle sallyport officer will personally <br />supervise the contents disposal to prevent inmate contact with the hot trash. The hot trash will <br />then be placed directly in the garbage truck. <br />Wooden Pallets <br />Unserviceable mattresses will be appropriately packaged at the point of generation and taken to a <br />MUT or HUT and placed into a waste cart. The RASP M&SSI will arrange disposal • <br />mattresses by any means deemed appropriate. <br />Copper, Brass, Aluminum, and miscellaneous Metal Waste <br />These items will be sorted into different containers and labeled accordingly. Plant Operatio <br />staff will contact the M&SS I to remove full containers of material. Secured "hot" receptacl <br />will be maintained outside Plant Operations Maintenance Shop. The Correctional Businel <br />Manager 11 will maintain a contract. <br />Waste will be separated into three (3) categories at the generation point; trash, recyclables, and <br />hot trash. <br />• Hot Trash Gray/Green <br />• Cardboard Blue <br />• Other White container/Recycle bin <br />
