0 <br />III <br />=j ML -A -f TW �: E 7F A-01 Xfj <br />Stockton, California <br />110AWTIM, <br />This procedure is to establish and regulate written guidelines for disposal of Hot Trash within the <br />daily operation of California Health Care Facility's (CHCF). <br />Department Operations Manual, Article 18, Tool Control, Section 52040.11 and Article <br />Disposition of Contraband, Section 52051.16. <br />This procedure will be reviewed annually in the month of July by the Associate Warden, Cenlri <br />Services, and submitted to the Warden for final approval. <br />gflmmm• •�� <br />The Warden has the overall responsibility for this procedure. The Associate Warden, Central <br />Services is responsible for the review and maintenance of this procedure. All staff will be <br />responsible for compliance with this procedure. <br />For the purpose of this program, waste removal is definedas the separation, collectio <br />3 <br />transportation, and disposal of all waste products; including but not limited to, by-products, po <br />production materials, food waste, scrap materials, and items which have become inoperable, no <br />salvageable, worthless, or useless (equipment/furniture must be processed by the Prope <br />Controller 11 prior to disposal.) <br />Any substance or material which can be used in the manufacturing of a weapon(s), esca <br />paraphernalia, or any material which contains confidential information, (i.e., personnel record <br />inmate files, memorandums, used carbon paper, etc). I <br />Note: Typewriter, printer, and word processing ribbons may be considered hot trash depending <br />on make, model, and location. Contact your supervisor or the Material Service Center (MSQ <br />Stationery Department staff collection/disposal instructions. <br />
