E <br />E <br />PROCEDURES: <br />A master inventory of all known hazardous substances will be developed by letter <br />of request to each department initially and annually thereafter. The annual <br />review will be monitored by the Administrator/designee. <br />The master inventory will be maintained by Administration. A department inven- <br />tory list will be compiled and maintained by department heads. Each inventory <br />list will be divided by location. <br />Department managers will notify the Administrator of new substances purchased, <br />changes in substances, and/or manufacturers. <br />The Administrator will ensure that the proper procedures are developed for new <br />substances introduced in the work place. <br />MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) <br />At the time of request to purchase all orders will include a paragraph requesting <br />WDS; for initial order, when changing manufacturers, or when making a substitution. <br />All WDS will be forwarded to the Administrator for inclusion in the Master <br />Inventory file. A copy will be maintained at the department level. <br />All hazardous substance containers will be clearly labeled so as to identify <br />contents. <br />TRAINING: Covered under HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE PROGRAM Section 1.0 Training and <br />Notification. <br />
