Document tt •. date •.: •... is <br />madeandthe informationprovided. <br />2.12 Once the fire is out: <br />2.12-1 Complete scene management checklist. <br />2.12-2 Isolate ♦: tis• •areasclearedas safe <br />to <br />2.13 Assure emergency equipment is replaced and restocked. <br />3.0 On-site spill of a hazardous substance. <br />3.1 If employee exposure provide and/or assure immediate <br />first aid is given. <br />3.1-1 Eye wash. <br />3.1-2 Wash exposed area. etc. <br />3.1-3 Complete an accident/injury form. <br />3.1-4 Have the employee report to LFMG physician <br />for evaluation and treatment. <br />3.2 Attempt to immediately stop the source of the <br />spill/leak. <br />3.2-1 Shut off equipment or pump. <br />3.2-2 Plug hole in the equipment. <br />3.2-3 Close valve. <br />3.2-4 Right overturned container or piece of <br />equipment. <br />3.3 If large spill or substance is not easily contained <br />notify supervisor and request spill kit. <br />3.3-1 Supervisor will evaluate spill to determine <br />if Administration should be contacted. <br />3.4 Isolate the spill from human or equipment contact. <br />3.5 Attempt to identify hazardous substance(s) spilled. <br />
