The Bloodborne Pathogen Program and Infection Control <br /> Policy outlines specific PPE to be worn for specified tasks. <br /> In accordance with OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, <br /> 29 CFR 1910.1030, Fresenius Medical Care has developed a <br /> Bloodborne Pathogen Program and an Infection Control Policy. <br /> This plan describes the potential occupational hazards from <br /> medical and potentially infectious (Bio-hazardous) waste in <br /> Fresenius Medical Care facilities. This plan also identifies the <br /> contingency plan and procedures to be followed in the event of <br /> a spill.
