M M � 0 17 4 4. 1. General Policy It is the policy of Sodexo Laundry Stockton to provide and enforce a dress code for all employees who will come in contact with either clean or soiled linen. All employees are to dress appropriately. No halter tops, mid drift tops, shorts (Capri -style is acceptable), or loose fitting garments that can get caught in rotating equipment. Employees are to wear hair covers daily. Personal protective equipment including gloves, masks and cover-up gowns will be readily available in the clean change area of the plant. Goggles and/or face shields will be added to personal protective equipment when it is anticipated that splashes may occur. It is the responsibility of each employee and all managers to insure that the dress code is maintained. • Don a clean gown, and a hair cover before entering soil sorting area. • Wash hands thoroughly. • Check assignment. • If assigned to soil sort area or as a Continuous Batch Washer (CBW) loader, don all personal protective equipment. • Wash hands before and after all breaks, meals and after the use of the bathroom. • At the end of the shift, remove the gown and gloves and place in the appropriate receptacle. Remove hair cover and mask and dispose in garbage container. • Wash hands thoroughly. 4.3. Drivers 4.3.1. Policy Drivers will wear puncture -resistant gloves at all times while handling soiled linen. 4.3.2. Procedures • Wash hands before starting work. • Don puncture -resistant gloves before handling soiled linen at each facility. • Remove gloves after placing soiled linen bins in truck. • Don gloves at each facility where soil is picked up. • Never wear dirty gloves in cab of truck. • Wash hands before and after eating. • If gloves tear, don a new pair of gloves. 4.4.
