Numbering with a label: <br /> a. For numbering spaces, use waterproof, smudge-resistant, labels large enough and <br /> placed so the numbers can easily be read from a distance of five feet or less from each <br /> space. <br /> b. For each floor space, securely attach a laminated numbered label (as described in item <br /> 1 c above) to the table or container holding the decedent when stored in the <br /> refrigeration unit. <br /> 3. Use permanent, indelible ink, writing in block characters, for numbering spaces. <br /> Numbers must be written large enough and placed so the numbers can easily be read <br /> from a distance of five feet or less from each space. <br /> b. Write legibly directly on the space. <br /> Note: For infants, a location can choose one or more spaces/shelves in its refrigeration unit <br /> and divide it into multiple spaces (numbering each as detailed above) to accommodate <br /> infant-size containers. <br /> 10.6 Refrigeration Unit Inventory <br /> Policy. An inventory must be maintained of all decedents stored in any Company-affiliated <br /> location refrigeration unit. <br /> Procedure. <br /> 1.
