WAS*TEDISCHARGE REQ 31MAS _ 4 _ <br />' UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA <br />LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL LABORATORY 300 <br />CLASS II -1 SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SITE <br />ALAMEDA AND SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES <br />3. The discharger shall file a written report within 90 days after the total <br />quantity of wastes discharged at this site equals 75 percent of the reported <br />capacity of the site. The report shall contain a schedule for studies, <br />design, and other steps needed to provide additional capacity, or the total <br />quantity discharged shall be limited to the reported capacity._ <br />4. The discharger shall providea ground water monitoring well within 100feet <br />to 300 feet downgradient from each site. <br />5. The discharger shall comply with the California Administrative Code, Title 23, <br />Chapter 3, Subchapter 15: Section 2552 Operation Plan, Section 2553 Comple- <br />tion of Disposal Operations, Section 2553.1 Site Closure and Maintenance <br />Report, Section 2553.2 Minimum Closure Requirements, and Article 6.5 Finan- <br />cialResponsibility'. <br />6. The discharger shall comply with Monitoring and Reporting Program No. 80-184 <br />and the Standard Provisions and Reporting Requirements dated -21 September 1979, <br />as specified by the Executive Officer. <br />7. The owner of the waste disposal site shall have a continuing responsiblity <br />to assure protection of usable waters from the waste discharge, and from <br />gases and leachate that are -caused by infiltration or precipitation or <br />drainage waters into the waste disposal areas.or by infiltration of water <br />applied to the waste disposal areas during subsequent use of the property, <br />for other purposes. <br />8. In the event of any change in control or ownership of this treatment and <br />disposal system, the discharger shall notify this Board of such change and <br />notify the succeeding owner or operator of the existence of this order. <br />9. The Board will review this order periodically and may revise the requirements <br />when necessary. <br />I, JA2MS A.
