The reminder comes from Chuck Meier, Lawrence Livermore's EIS/EIR project manager, who said written comments -- which should be mailed to EIS/EIR Project Manager, ATrN: Draft EIS/EIR Comments, EIS/EIR Project Office, L-615, P.O. Box 808, Livermore, CA 94550 -- must be postmarked no later than June 11, 1992, to be accepted. The 2,200-page Draft EIS/EIR analyzes the environmental impacts of continued operations of the laboratories. A mitigation monitoring program will accompany the Final EIS/EIR as part of the University of California's approval and certification process. Copies of the document are available in the Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and Tracy Public Libraries-, UC Berkeley's Charles F. Doe Library; Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Visitors Center; and in reading rooms in the DOE San Francisco Field Office in Oakland and DOE Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
