Page 3 <br />7. LEAK TEST <br />Before the final exterior -paint coal or touch-up is applied, the tank must pass <br />a leak test. The J -M representative will have the tank filled with water to <br />the overflow pipe level. After a minimum of 36 hours in the filled condition,, <br />a visual check for leaks will be made. The Contractor will then correct any <br />deficiencies discovered and the tank will be rechecked. <br />After passing the leak test, the J -M representative will have the tank drained <br />before the Contractor applies the final exterior paint coat or touch -,up. <br />8. FACILITIES AND SERVICES BY THE OWNER <br />The Owner will, without charge, supply the below listed services: <br />A. Drinking water (not at the job site). <br />B. Electrical service -- 110 volts single phase or 440 volts three phase. <br />The Contractor shall extend the power to the job site from an outlet <br />indicated by the Owner. <br />C. The Owner will clear the job site of any stored materials and will <br />make available to the Contractor uncovered storage area. <br />D. The Contractor shall provide toilet faciiities for his personnel. <br />. The Owner's facilities are not to be used by the Contractor. <br />E. The Owner will make 'every reasonable effort to cooperate with the <br />Contractor. <br />9. RESPONSIBILITY FOR.LOSS'OF MATERIAL <br />The Owner will not be responsible for loss of the Contractor's equipment, <br />tools, materials, etc.. <br />10. SITE VISIT <br />The Contractor shall visit the site with the Owner's representative to <br />acquaint himself with the actual conditions and requirements of the work <br />before the site work commences. The Owner will not accept any claim for <br />reimbursement based on the Contractor's misunderstanding of the nature <br />or scope of the work to be done or of the site conditions. <br />
