Page 3 7. LEAK TEST Before the final exterior -paint coal or touch-up is applied, the tank must pass a leak test. The J -M representative will have the tank filled with water to the overflow pipe level. After a minimum of 36 hours in the filled condition,, a visual check for leaks will be made. The Contractor will then correct any deficiencies discovered and the tank will be rechecked. After passing the leak test, the J -M representative will have the tank drained before the Contractor applies the final exterior paint coat or touch -,up. 8. FACILITIES AND SERVICES BY THE OWNER The Owner will, without charge, supply the below listed services: A. Drinking water (not at the job site). B. Electrical service -- 110 volts single phase or 440 volts three phase. The Contractor shall extend the power to the job site from an outlet indicated by the Owner. C. The Owner will clear the job site of any stored materials and will make available to the Contractor uncovered storage area. D. The Contractor shall provide toilet faciiities for his personnel. . The Owner's facilities are not to be used by the Contractor. E. The Owner will make 'every reasonable effort to cooperate with the Contractor. 9. RESPONSIBILITY FOR.LOSS'OF MATERIAL The Owner will not be responsible for loss of the Contractor's equipment, tools, materials, etc.. 10. SITE VISIT The Contractor shall visit the site with the Owner's representative to acquaint himself with the actual conditions and requirements of the work before the site work commences. The Owner will not accept any claim for reimbursement based on the Contractor's misunderstanding of the nature or scope of the work to be done or of the site conditions.
