Page 2 <br />5. FEATURES <br />The following items are to be located and configured according to the drawings <br />2-188-49 2-189-5 and 2-190-4. <br />A. One access door for cleaning 36" high by 24" wide opening outward. <br />B. Top safety railing of CAL-OSHA approved design. <br />C. Steel baffle mounting bolt lugs as shown in drawing 2-190-4. <br />D. Bolted pipe flanges. <br />(1) 6 inch pipe, 3 locations. All three flanged on outside <br />end. One at the 4'-9" elevation is flanged on the inside end. <br />(2) 111 inch pipe, 1 location, flanged on both inside and outside <br />ends. <br />All flanges located 8 inches from tank wall. All exterior <br />flanges will have closing plates installed for the leak test. <br />s <br />E. Three 10-inch diameter deck openings with suitable support structure <br />for agitators equally spaced on a 14-foot diameter circle. <br />(See Dwg. 2-189-5). <br />F. Two hinged visual inspection hatches in roof, 18-24 inches in diameter. <br />G. Fixed roof access ladder of CAL-OSHA approved design. <br />H. One 10-inch diameter deck opening. <br />I. Tank to be set upon a 6--inch layer of crushed rock. Rock to be layed <br />on present concrete slab and retained by a steel ring. Resulting slope <br />of tank floor and deviation of walls from vertical not to exceed 1 in 100. <br />6. FINISH <br />Interior: Including primer, a three.layer white epoxy coating on all <br />interior parts. <br />Exterior: Primer = 1 coat Sherwin Williams KROMIX E41-N1 or.equal. <br />Paint = 1 coat Sherwin Williams Metalastic II non-chalking <br />white B53 W1O or equal. <br />
