The effective date of the withdrawal of designation is September 8, <br /> 1996. If no enforcement agency is designated in 30 days from September 8, 1996,the IWMB <br /> will become the enforcement agency for the City effective October 8, 1996. <br /> The IWMB staff find that the withdrawal of designation was a determination by the City and <br /> should not be a reflection on the LEA's fulfillment of its duties and responsibilities. <br /> The IWMB staff,effective September 8, 1996,will be inspecting facilities in the City jurisdiction <br /> to protect the public health and safety and the environment. If no enforcement agency is <br /> designated,effective October 8, 1996,the IWMB will become the solid waste enforcement agency <br /> for permitting,inspection,and enforcement duties for the City of Stockton. <br /> Please do not hesitate to call me at(916)255-2298 or Ms.Mary T.
