The site has not been in <br /> operation since June of 1984. Before that time, Arcady accepted drilling fluids <br /> and possibly other materials starting in 1960. The site shows no evidence of <br /> recent waste disposal . <br /> As ordered by the C&A, an investigation was started in early 1985 to determine <br /> the extent, if any, of soil and ground water pollution. On 15 December 1985 I <br /> took water samples from wells 7 and 9 since Arcady had not reported data from <br /> these two wells.
