To date we have not received this <br /> plan. <br /> We are very concerned that the chromium and arsenic contained in <br /> the drilling mud is being transferred to the underlying ground <br /> water and to adjacent sloughs . chromium has already been <br /> detected in Arcady' s ground water monitoring wells. <br /> The enclosed Cleanup & Abatement Order directs you to cease <br /> discharge , assess the extent of soil and ground water pollution <br /> which has resulted from discharge, remove all materials which do <br /> not conform to the waste discharge requirements or abate their <br /> effects upon ground water, and cleanup the ground water degraded <br /> by the site. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact <br /> Dan ward at (916) 324-8891. <br /> z A <br /> I 1A <br /> zx)" <br /> WILLIAM H.
