The report, which
included tabular and graphical summaries of 1990 monitoring data, is adequate.
Future reports should compare annual data to historical data, identify trends
and anomalies, and discuss non-compliance which occurred during the year.
The Report stated that the City intends to establish Water Quality Protection
Standards (WQPS) for Austin Road Landfill after revisions to Article 5 of
Chapter 15 are completed, Article 5 was adopted by the State Board on
24 January 1990 and will take effect this summer. Therefore, the City should
begin planning how they will attain the WQPS as required by Chapter 15.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (916) 361-5737.
6AAWMd
ROBERT A.
