nage 4
a survey is being conducted presently and this information should
be available in the near future. Liquid waste is received at the
site in the form of grease from grease traps located at restau-
rants and other establishments that prepare food. This waste
from grease traps averages less than one percent of the total
solid waste stream. Cannery wastes are occasionally accepted at
the site, but the quantity is insignificant. Canning wastes
are used for soil enrichment, and are only received at Austin
Road during inclement weather when trucks are not able to get
into the fields . No hazardous wastes are received at this site.
The annual waste volumes at this site are 605, 796 cubic
ls , with a low month of March at 47 , 000 cubic yards and a
high month of September of 53, 000 cubic yards . The average seven- !
day week daily volume received at the site is 1 ,660 cubic yards .
With an expected annual increase of three percent per year, the
site will be receiving 814, 139 cubic yards annually in 1987.
A. No infectious wastes, septic tank pumpings , or sewage sludge
is received at the site.
