Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
PERMIT MODIFICATION FOR THE AUSTIN ROAD
SANITARY LANDFILL, CITY OF STOCKTON
This letter is to confirm our November 14, 1990, telephone conversation
regarding the request for an extension on the above subject matter.
As you are aware, the City of Stockton is applying concurrently for the
following permits: (1) Permit modification to 512 tons per day, (2) The
permit modification which will allow the City to accept the tonnages
which have been historically received at the Austin Road Landfill, and
(3) The new Austin Road Landfill 5 -year Permit.
It is our understanding, that based on the present situation, the new
Austin Road Landfill 5 -year Permit will probably be issued prior to the
completion of the reviewing process of the requested permit modification
indicated in item (2) above. Also, the new 5 -year permit will supersede
the permits mentioned in items (1) and (2) above.
Based on the above assumption, the City would like to request a three
month extention, starting from December 1, 1990, for the process of the
permit modification indicated in item (2).
Thank you for your consideration.
contact me at 944-8341.
*,(V'J Uttov
STEPHEN CHEN
DEPUTY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/STREETS
SC: sl
If you have any question please
cc: James B.
