Chen <br />Deputy Public Director <br />Cc PI <br />City of Stockton <br />City Hall, Stockton, CA 95202 <br />Dear Mr. Chen: <br />6055 <br />Telephone <br />East , <br />'(213) 725-1139 <br />Washington <br />Boulevard, <br />Commerce, <br />RECEIVED <br />California <br />90040 <br />0 CT 19 4 <br />Telecop <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />(213)725-8772 <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />12 October 1990 <br />In response to your recent request to our plant operator, <br />Dennis Young, for details concerning our permit from <br />the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br />we offer the following: <br />We are permitted under Order No. 88-208. <br />This permits condensate to be returned to the same <br />landfill from which the gas came. <br />The condensate disposal leach line is required to have <br />the capacity to handle up to 200 GPD. <br />We are required, quarterly, to have a laboratory test <br />performed on the condensate using the EPA 601 and EPA <br />602 test methods. <br />We are required to log and report the average daily <br />flow and to weekly test and record the Ph and <br />conductivity of the condensate. <br />We are required to submit the quarterly laboratory <br />tests with a summary of the daily flows discharged <br />during that quarter to the Board. <br />As you will recall, when the issue of condensate became <br />a topic of discussion in 1989, a comparison was made of the <br />"fingerprint" of the condensate in the landfill and the <br />"fingerprint" of the condensate being discharged from <br />the plant.
