Tucker, Project Engineer
CITY OF STOCKTON AUSTIN ROAD LANDFILL INTERMEDIATE GRADING PLAN
Attached for your review and comments, please find two (2) sets of topo
maps, cross-sections, and calculations for the Austin Road Landfill
intermediate grading plan as required by the Amended Waste Discharge
Requirements, Order No. 90-122.
As you can see Phase I, operation of this plan is to concentrate on
filling and covering the highly impacted area of the landfill to the
proposed intermediate grade. It will take roughly 155 working days to
complete this phase, assuming the present 512 tons per day maximum
allowable capacity continues.
Phase II and Phase III of the operation will take roughly 121 working
days and 40 working days to complete.
The City intents to implement this plan immediately after receiving
your approval. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr.
Tucker, for his assistance in developing this concept.
If you have any questions please call me at 944-8341.
STEPHEN CHEN
DEPUTY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/STREETS
SC: sl
cc: Phil Giambastiani, Owner/Operator of Austin Road Landfill
Edward Padilla, Senior REHS Enviornmental Health Division
Pacific Energy: Attn Alex Roqueta, Manager
