Suite A <br />Sacramento, C--� 95827-3098 <br />As Article 5 of Chapter 15 requires, we are notifying you of the results of resampling - <br />previousiy unimpacted Austin Road Landfill .%N-13 for the presence of volatile organic <br />compounds (VOCs). We notified you on stay 23. 1995 (in the first quarter, 1995 monitoring <br />report) that VOCs *-ad been detected in �5V-13. �5V-13 is a downgradient well intended to <br />detect any movement that may occur in the landfill pollutant plume. <br />SummwY of Sanpling Results <br />=our VOC constituents that were found i s f _-st quarter sampling of `BV -13 on April 12, 1995 - <br />Dichlorodifluoromethane. 1.1 Dicrloroethane. Te-trachioroethene (PCE), and Trichloroethene <br />CE). in resampling on May 24. 1,995 oris, PCE and TCE were detected (see attached analytical <br />results)..-�s the tabie below shows, ?CE at TCE concentrations werg much lower the second <br />time the well was sampled. <br />We have a nvo-fold pian of action for dealing with this confirmed impact: <br />I.
