(b)In addition,a 4.3-acre detention basin will be constructed in the southwest comer of the project site,as depicted on project plans(R.W. Beck and Associates, 1993). (c) Restoration of the riparian area shall include revegetation with trees, shrubs, and grasses native to the area. Plantings shall have a minimum 80%survival after the first year, and 100%survival thereafter, or shall have attained a 75% cover after three years and a 90%cover after five years. Plantings shall be monitored each year and maintained as necessary until success criteria have been Aft met. In order to assure implementation, the Wetlands Mitigation and Monitoring Plan shall be modified to include these criteria. 11
