EIR File #ER-99-2 SCH#90020718 The Collegeville Fire protection District has some concerns as to the . i environmental impact report as far as the Austin Road Landfll expansion Project is concerned. . On page 9 section C. 2a to have someone on call 24 hrs a day to call the fire dept. Section C.3a full fire & breathing apparatus should be furnished to fire dept. In Appendix A of Initial study page Z the San Jouquin County fire prevention Bureau, review of design and operation of the project requirements to the city for minimizing fire hazards-should be reviewed by Collegeville fire board. On Pg. 27 under public services 13a. it states, since you are reverting ire dept. to:Collegeville fire dist, a service from Stockton Fire Dept. a Class 1 f class 4 fire dept. that is 100% volunteer. City of Stockton should furnish 2 Collegeville with sufficient breathing apparatus. The methane gas could be a problem on the property and the dist feel this would b I e a unique nique parcel for this. On page 27, as to the chief personal communication, on September 28 of 1999 was not accurately represented in this report, and that there would be a significant impact on that dist. - We as a district feel that before. this property 3 would be accepted into the district it would be done only by board approval.
