Shut down all landfill operation equipment and the landfill gas system. <br /> 2.6.2.5 High Winds <br /> 1. Recognize and Evaluate the Emergency <br /> a. Take appropriate precautions when high wind warnings are issued by the National <br /> Weather Service, such as placing soil cover on the landfill working face to reduce blowing <br /> debris. <br /> 2. Take Safety Precautions <br /> a. Stay away from overhead electrical wires, and power poles <br /> b. Do not approach downed power lines. <br /> 3. Provide Information- <br /> a.
