Call the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (916) 255-3136 and the State <br /> Department of Health Services (1-415-540-2043) and tell them the nature of the spill and <br /> its location. <br /> d. If possible, Identify the spilled waste so as to improve the degree of safety and <br /> effectiveness of cleanup. Take proper precautions to avoid a dangerous, life-threatening <br /> or environmentally damaging situation. <br /> 4. Control or Limit the Emergency <br /> a.
