Salvaging 14 CCR 17687 Salvaging and scavenging is prohibited at the landfill, except <br /> for the scavenging of tires at the active face by landfill <br /> personnel. <br /> V.E.2. Storage of Salvage 14 CCR 17690 Salvaged tires are temporarily stored on the site in a roll-off <br /> box. <br /> V.E.3. Removal of Salvage 14 CCR 17691 When tire storage roll-off box is full, it is removed by a tire <br /> recycling company. <br /> V.E.4. Non-Salvageable Items 14 CCR 17692 No public access is allowed to the site. Operator will not <br /> salvage drugs, cosmetics, foods, beverages, hazardous <br /> chemicals, poisons, medical wastes, syringes, needles, <br /> pesticides and other materials capable of impairing public <br /> health, unless approved by the LEA. <br /> V.E.S. Volume Reduction and 14 CCR 17688 No volume reduction or energy recovery operations are <br /> Energy Recovery 14 CCR 17689 proposed. <br /> V.F. HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> V.F.1. Sanitary Facilities 14 CCR 17666 Four portable toilets equipped with hand-washing units are <br /> currently used on site. Capacity is sufficient for ten people for <br /> a normal five-day week. Portable toilets are located at the <br /> scale house, near the active fill area, and at other common <br /> work areas. <br /> V.F.1. Potable Water Supply 14 CCR 17667 Three water bottled coolers are currently used on-site. These <br /> units are regularly serviced by the vendor. No on-site wells <br /> are used for potable water. <br />
