Appendix I, FDSR <br /> Procedures 14 CCR 17742 Sec. 2.1.7.3, Pages <br /> 14 CCR 17743 No hazardous waste is accepted. 2-11 to 2-12 <br /> 14 CCR 17744 <br /> 14 CCR 18221(b) Discharge of liquid or semi-solid liquid (i.e., waste containing <br /> less than 50% solids), except dewatered sewage or water <br /> treatment sludge as provided in Section 2523(c) of Chapter <br /> 15, is prohibited for existing facility. <br /> Animals: Large dead animals are not accepted. Small dead <br /> animals are taken to the City Animal Shelter. <br /> V.D.S. Periodic Cover 14 CCR 17682 Periodic cover operation procedures will be similar to existing Appendix I, FDSR <br /> 14 CCR 17683 procedures. Alternative materials are currently being used as Sec. 2.1.7.3, Pages <br /> 14 CCR 17225.16 daily cover. A detailed discussion of periodic cover is 2-11 to 2-12 <br /> considered beyond the scope of this RDSI and will be <br /> addressed by future amendments to the RDSI. <br /> V.D.6. Intermediate Cover 14 CCR 17684 One foot of intermediate cover is required for areas not Appendix 1, FDSR <br /> Placement (Intermediate Cover) receiving additional waste for 180 days or more. Sec. 2.1.7.3., Pages <br /> 14 CCR 17225.16 2-11 to 2-12 <br /> 23 CCR 2544 (Note: FDSR stated time requirement of 60 days, time <br /> requirement has been corrected to 180 days as allowed by 14 <br /> CCR 17684.) <br /> V.D.7. Final Cover Placement 14 CCR 17773(b) Areas available for final cover during the phase development Appendix B, <br /> 23 CCR 2581 (a)(1) of the landfill are shown on CEP Drawings P3 and P4. CEP Dwg. P7 <br /> 14 CCR 17773(a) final cover over the expansion phases will be a composite <br /> 14 CCR 17773(c) type cover (low permeability soil and geomembrane) as <br /> shown in Detail 2, Drawing P6. <br /> Alternate materials or designs may be used upon regulatory Appendix C <br /> approval. Amendments to the RDSI will be filed as required <br /> for each stage of the final closure; amendments will include <br /> the affirmation that a registered civil engineer or certified <br /> engineering geologist was responsible for the cover design. <br />
